13 Awesome Features For Your New Inground Pool

Hello, everyone. My name is Jonathan Portukalian with Port Building. Thank you so much for joining us today, and coming back, and watching another one of our videos. In today’s video, we’re going to be talking about features that you can put in your inground pool or some of them, you can even add to. I have a whole list here on my laptop, and let’s jump right in.

Feature number 1:

Electric Rolling Pool Cover 
First feature we offer is electric roll cover. These things are great. They really fit in seamlessly with your pool. A flat cover that goes over the housing of the inground pool cover. You can walk over if It sits flush with the concrete. It’s got a dial pad security code for it to unroll it and to roll it back. Super secure. A great feature to have.

Feature number 2:

Saltwater System
Our next one is going to be a saltwater system. I would highly recommend this over the chlorine. It’s just a lot cleaner, a lot better for your skin. Better overall, and it’s pretty affordable.

Feature number 3:

LED Lighting System
The next one is going to be a smart LED system for your in-ground pool. All controllable on your phone, and you can change it to a variety of different colors. You can even do strobe lighting. I mean, there’s a lot of different things you can do with it. Super cool feature.

Feature number 4:

Smart Pool Chemical System
You can adjust the pH levels on your water all on your phone. You can do a lot of things with it. Really convenient. Really nice to have.

Feature number 5:

Gas Inground Pool Heater
Super efficient. It’s a great feature to have for your pool. Whether you want to be open for a couple of months longer than normal or even go full out and just be open all winter long, it’s totally up to you. It’s just a cool thing to add.

Feature number 6:

A Sun Deck
We have a sun deck feature, a great thing to have for just lounging around in the water. There are about four inches of water on a Sunday. You can make them six to eight feet long and however wide your pool is. Great to have for just putting your chairs in there and just lounging around. They make a liner-safe chair, so you won’t puncture it or anything. Great to have just sipping on your tea there and getting a tan.

Feature number 7:

Built-in Inground Pool Bench Seating
Built-in bench seating is an awesome thing to have. In the deep end of your pool normally is where they’re at. You can just sit around and hang out, talk to friends, sipping on that ice tea again, and just hanging out and having a good time.

Feature number 8:

Water Jets
Water jets are going to be used for a lot of things. Just to add a little extra to your pool, just the overall look. We can even create a sprinkler system for the kids just for a whole area separate from that. I mean, there’s a lot of things you can do with those water jets. So that’s a really cool feature to have.

Feature number 9:

Swimming Pool Sports Systems
Next, we have sports. Basketball goal, volleyball net. I mean, anything you can think of for your inground pool, we can do. It makes everything just a lot more enjoyable and just really cool.

Feature number 10:

Water Slides
So whether it’s a slide that has water on it or just a regular slide, there’s… The sky is the limit here. You can do custom stone-cut slides. You can do fiberglass slides. There’s a lot of options here, but having a slide is just super fun for the kids, super fun for some adults. I mean, I love slides personally. So a great thing to add.

Feature number 11:

Diving Boards
Diving boards are amazing. I love diving boards. Especially if you have a safe depth on your pool, you can really add a lot of fun and character to your little oasis in your backyard there and really awesome to have.

Feature number 12:

Pool Waterfalls
So waterfalls. I mean, you can put them anywhere. You can either do a separate thing for waterfalls, a separate fountain, or you can have the waterfall drain into your pool. That’s a really cool, unique feature. Not a lot of people have it, but it’s becoming more and more popular. It just adds a lot of bling, if you want to call it, to your inground pool.

Feature number 13:

Robot Swimming Pool Vacuums
It’s a great feature to have for your pool for keeping it clean. No more pool brooms cleaning the bottom of the pool a couple of hours at a time. It’s going to save you a lot of time if you don’t have time. Everybody is busy. We’re all running around, doing things, and it just makes everything super productive for you. You can come home, set your pool vacuum up, and start it. It goes and runs the walls. It runs the floors. Just a really cool little thing, and it’s great to have. So I would highly recommend that.
